Alright, welcome back to the progress section for Dropp Comics! To start off this update, I'll list the things I've been working on.
-The official Dropp Comics instagram account has been made (@droppcomics) I decided not to make a TikTok account since im not a fan of the platform, and im not making a twitter account.
-Chapter one of Project 376 is fully done! I still need to revise the following three chapters. I'm just debating how I'm going to be releasing P376, origially I was thinking of releasing 10 chapters at a time. Depending on how I want the story to end, I might just wait to release the enire short novel all at once. If you have followed the socials, let me know what you think!
Theres this idea that has been bouncing around my head for a while, which depending on how P376 does, I might go through with it. So, if you havent read the synopsis, P376 follows Adam in the dream realm. He finds out that he can control his dreams, but he's not the only one. I don't want to spoil too much so I'll leave it there. Anyway, the idea is, I have a dream journal that ive been writing in for the past 3, almost 4 years. If this short novel garners enough attention and if people really want to see inspiration, I want to share this dream journal with the fans of P376.
-I've been doing more world building for Project - Isolation, I have 9 pages worth of lore and just under 6k words. I'm also building the different species within my story and flushing them out. I will update the dedicated section with more information later. Something I've been putting off is drawing at least one character for the species im adding, to make up for this, I'll add a rough sketch of some apes I did a few years back.
I won't add this next part on the Project - Isolation page just yet, this will be for those who actually read these update pages. I'm going to have three main characters for this project, Azael, Mia, and Carlos. Azael and mia are both twin siblings, Carlos is a childhood friend of the siblings. I know I havent posted much about this project, the reason of this is because I want it to be the best version of itself, I want to take my time and make it as best as I can.
-Planning, by next update, I want to already have at least two posts on the instagram page. Since P376 is the one that I plan to finish first, I'm mainly going to be posting about that project for the time being. I will also have one drawing for each species and a subcategory going in depth with what that species does or their role in the story.
Something else I need to figure out, is how im going to release this. I would like to monetize this to make some money back from the website and domain. My end goal is to get a publishing company to publish this short novel for me and sell physical copies. It's ambitious but I will try my best to make it happen.
